Ahh the task can be a challenge in figuring out what sort of name you want for your fishing vessel.

This does not need to be a mission in itself to figure out though and if it is then you may not be ready for it. Let the idea flow naturually to you by thinking about it maybe when you are out fishing or relaxing down the beach on a Sunday afternoon it may come to you.

Some names are obvious to there meaning.

A set of decals we made for a customer was for the name Cause for Divorce.

When you look at this amazing fishing boat that was 23 foot in length rigged out with twin 90 HP outboard engines and no more than a year old the reason for this name was obvious. This vessel was purchased for the purpose of Marlin Fishing off the Victorian coast and had cost a pretty penny hence the purchase itself was a cause for divorce for the wife if there needed to be one.

Some names are related to the fishing type the fisherman does. A veteran fisherman who has mastered the art of fishing could use the name Child's Play hence children play so freely and easily and so is catching fish.

Another example might be Catch N Crabs for the fisherman that loves catching a crab or two.

Let your personality come out when you make a decision and don't be too worried what others might think.

More ideas can be found in boating magazines, talking to friends, being inspired by your kids, hobby and so on. Its not a decision that needs to be made if it is too difficult for you to achieve.
